Galway Food Festival & Galway 2020 are hosting an outdoor community feast, Breaking Bread as part of the Cruiniú na Cásca on Easter Monday. Breaking Bread uses the love of food to a showcase & celebrate the varied and diverse cultural groups that are part of Galway’s modern community. There will be an exhibition of culture & food by the groups including traditional and modern dishes to taste and share.
The cost of entry to the event is free but in order to get a plate and join the feast, you must bring a non-perishable food item as a donation. Each item donated with get you 3 tickets towards your choice of international dishes.

Festival organisers are also inviting individuals throughout Galway City and County to get involved by hosting your own Breaking Bread event, bringing together family and friends to share food, tell stories and celebrate your community.
