Halla Bia

Local Enterprise Food Hall

Connacht Printworks, Market Street. 14-16 April. 10am-6pm.

Local Enterprise Office Galway are delighted to support Halla Bia at this year’s Galway Food Festival.

Halla Bia provides an opportunity for small local food & drink producers to showcase and sell their products. This year we have linked with our colleagues in Local Enterprise Offices along the Wild Atlantic Way to bring a wide range of amazing local food producers to Galway.

Producers from Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork and Donegal will be selling their products at the indoor market over the Easter weekend. Halla Bia is taking place in the Connacht Printworks on market street and will be a vibrant indoor market over the Easter weekend.

Breda Fox, Head of Local Enterprise Office Galway said that "We urge you all to make your way to Halla Bia- Local Enterprise Food Hall over the Easter weekend and meet small producers from along the West coast such as Sabanero Cheese and Ivy House Chocolates from Galway, Linalla ice-cream from Clare, The Gluten Free Kitchen Company from Kerry and The Legumerie from Donegal.”

Halla Bia is part of the wider effort within Galway to encourage and promote local food & drink producers who are growing and creating employment throughout the region. Local Enteprise Office Galway also supports this initiative as part of the European Region of Gastronomy 2018.
